Prior to receiving my Masters Degree at George Fox University, I had been an elementary school teacher, receiving my degree from Western Oregon University. After 20 years of teaching, I went back to school to receive my Masters in Counseling. I used my training to work as a School Counselor at North Clackamas Christian School in Oregon City for 9 years. I went from there to serve as the Director of Children’s Ministry and Women’s Ministry at Canby Alliance Church. Wherever I have worked, in teaching, counseling or overseeing church ministries, with women or children, though my title has changed, my purpose has always been the same – to come alongside those who are struggling to provide hope, encouragement and support from a merciful and compassionate heart. I look forward to providing a safe place for women to share their stories, and receive the encouragement they are needing.
Personal Disclosure
Because I am not a licensed professional counselor, it is important to me that you have clear understanding of who I am as well as a good understanding of what I can and cannot do for you. If you think that you would like to meet with me, you can sign up on the website and make an appointment. I will call you and we will make arrangements to meet at a local coffeeshop together where I can go into greater detail what I can and cannot do for you. Afterwards, if you would still like to make an appointment to meet, I will ask you to sign and date my disclosure statement before we make an appointment to meet together.
